What made you want to start a brand?
Long story short, my brother told me one day in 2016 that since I'm a creative person I should start a little t-shirt clothing brand, so that evening, that's exactly what I did and the rest is history!
How'd you come up with the name onthebrightside?
It originated around my friend giving me a cliché tattoo of a sun rising, to symbolise that no matter how bad of a day you had, the sun will always rise tomorrow and you can try again
Where are we based?
OTBS is based in Northern Ireland in the UK
Where are our materials sourced?
Our clothing comes from a few trusted blank brands and we try our best to source items that are 100% cotton with a high GSM (weight) so they are warm and high quality. This is due to the fact that a lot of people have skin allergies (including me) to polyester or acrylic, which is usually found in cheap hoodies and we try to steer away from that.
How long will it take for my order to arive?
As an external company makes them for me per order, it can take anywhere between 2-5 weeks for your order to arrive.
What if I want a specific design but on a different medium/colour of clothing?
If this is the case, we are happy to put a design onto a specific item of clothing for you that isn't the one that is modelled on the website. Just contact me via email or instagram (links below) to get in touch.
What are the care instructions for your products?
Generally, we recommend washing your garments at 30/40 degrees as our shirts are very design orientated. Also, avoiding ironing directly over the design is advised. Instead, iron the garment inside out.
